Askina® Sorb : یک پانسمان استریل اولیه ی زخم می باشد که حاوی ۸۵ % آلژینات کلسیم و ۱۵ % کربوکسی متیل سلولز (CMC) است. در تماس با اگزودای زخم به سرعت به حالت ژل در می آید که در نتیجه ی یک تبادل یونی (بین یون های کلسیم موجود در پانسمان و یون های سدیم موجود در زخم) می باشد تا تشکیل یک ژل نرم مرطوب را بدهد که منجربه ترمیم زخم گردد.
